Our last and final state in 2025! We were in Missouri a lot longer than expected. Cory's contract didn't start till five weeks after mine; so we were there from August to December. And we got to experience summer, autumn, and a little bit of winter :)
I took a contract in Rolla (home of Missouri S&T) and Cory got a contract in Bolivar. These two places are two hours apart so we lived in Lebanon (Leb-a-nin). I drove an hour east while Cory drove an hour west. Thankfully he got the sun both ways. Hehe!
And just like Minnesota, we rented a camper again. However this time we went BIG! At first I wasn't the biggest fan of the campground in Lebanon, but we ended up loving it for the pups. There are walking trails all over the backside of the campground. Rosie loved to be off leash and run through the woods chasing squirrels. She's truly a huntin girl at heart. Archer loved sniffing and walking about lol.
Lebanon most definitely grew on us, but it wasn't our favorite place of the year. However, Missouri is pretty darn cool. There's a lot more to do outdoors than I ever expected and the antique shops were pretty awesome!
Travel tip when exploring the outdoors in Missouri: The ticks are really bad. Even in summer wear leggings and a hat to help keep them off. Check yourself regularly for them in the shower.
